Two Become One

Ummm Hi

I've been gone for almost 3 weeks and everytime I want to sit to blog, something interrupts me. Whether it's been all the paperwork I do in the evenings for work or the roadblocks we keep running into as we search for a house. That has been the most stressful to the point of tears. That house we went to see a while back, was two story so the first floor was too small for us. It had a beautiful huge back yard but that's about all we liked. Then we considered a builder who can get us everything we want but he's just a little over our price range.

So, our options right now are: the house we've been looking for may come on the market in the next MONTH, renew our lease if the rent doesn't go up, find another place to rent, or somehow our families help us with our down payment. I think we're going to continue renting one way or another, because we need to build up our down payment a little bit more.

We really want to build because in this economy we don't want to be stuck in something we semi-like and can't get out of in the next 5-10 years if we wanted to move.

All this has pushed the thought of a nursery out of my mind for the time being. I don't mind it actually. I'm more preoccupied with saving our money, enjoying my pregnancy, and just daydreaming of my little man.

I've also been entering diaper contests like crazy, LOL. So, if you see random posts about giveaways, just know that's my obsessed self trying to win some fluff.

Tomorrow is EASTER!!! It's the same story every year but the sweetest one we will ever know. He died to save us and rose again to promise us everlasting life with Him. My heart can just explode with joy that we have Him to celebrate and give thanks for all that He has done. GOD IS GOOD and HE IS RISEN!

Luke 24:1-8
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words.
